A Meeting of Halwill Parish Council will be held on 11 April 2024 at 7.30 p.m. at the Parish Hall for the purpose of transacting the following business:

2024/Apr/1 Apologies To receive and accept apologies for absence. Apologies should be made known to the Clerk

2024/Apr/2 Declarations of interest and Requests for Dispensations: To receive declarations of personal interest and disclosable pecuniary interests (DPI's) in respect of items on this agenda - To consider any dispensation requests. Requests should be made to the Clerk prior to the meeting

2024/Apr/3 Public question time Deferment of business for Public Question Time. Time allowed at the discretion of the chairman. The public are invited to give their views and ask questions about items on this agenda. They may also raise issues for future consideration which may be made agenda items for a future meeting. Answers may be given in writing.

2024/Apr/4 public excluded Order of Business and any items to be discussed with the At the discretion of the Chair, to adjust, as necessary, the order of agenda items to accommodate visiting members, officers or members of the public. To agree any items of a confidential nature to be discussed under part 2 Standing orders. Embarrassing to individuals or the parish council does not make it confidential!

2024/Apr/8 To consider responses to planning applications Torridge District Council, the determining authority, has asked for comments on the following application:

Proposal: Siting of a temporary supervisory mobile home

Location: Fishing Ponds At Grid Reference 245539 100725, Halwill Junction, Devon Comment deadline: 13 April 2024

Reference: 1/0234/2024/FULM

Proposal: Erection of 3 no. wind turbines of height between 95m and 100m to tip and associated infrastructure including access tracks, 1 switchgear and control building with transformers and grid connection infrastructure, underground cabling, turbine foundations, crane hardstandings, 1 upgraded site access point and 1 meteorological mast on land at Dunsland Cross (Variation of Condition 22 and 23 of 1/1250/2011/FULM (Appeal Ref No APP/W1145/A/13/2194484))
