The minutes were signed as a correct record by Cllr J Hardman Action List / Matters arising for the Minutes • Radar controlled speed sign Highampton PC did buy and install their own vehicle activated sign (VAS). The sign they bought cost in the region of £2,000. Highways will allow us to install one subject to conditions. The sign should not remain in one place from more than 8 weeks and the site must be approved by the highways officer. The Community Speedwatch group has identified suitable sites. • Car boot sale Given the car boot sale will be about the same time as the Gala it was suggested the 2 events were linked with the Car Boot being part of Gala week. • Work at the end of the car park It's progressing very slowly. RL has outlined the site with wood so people have some idea of the size and layout of the gazebo. • The trophy cabinet JH will continue the search for a cabinet, maybe a floor standing one.
