Open Gardens 2012

The annual Open Gardens event, in aid of the Winsford Trust, was on a very wet Sunday in June. The Winsford Centre acts as a hub, where tickets and programmes can be purchased and Cream Teas etc are served all afternoon.
This is the fourth year, and the ideal is to have at least 3 or 4 different gardens each year. All admin and advertising is done by the Trust and a really enjoyable evening is spent on the Friday before the event by all garden owners doing a visit to all the other gardens, since they can't do it on the day. Most garden owners who have done this in the past have thoroughly enjoyed talking to visitors with a shared hobby. No garden is too small/large/in progress to be considered, variety is what we want.
